Who We Are

The Woodbridge Homeschool Band was founded in 1998 with the mission to provide quality instrumental music instruction to the Woodbridge, Virginia, homeschooling community.

Meet the Directors

Dr. Zuill Bailey

Director

Dr. Zuill Bailey is a retired Prince William County educator and former PWCS Music Supervisor. Dr. Bailey has taught the Woodbridge Homeschool Band with his colleagues for more than 20 years.

Ariel Williams

Director

Ariel Williams is a classical saxophonist and educator in the Northern Virginia area. As a former Homeschool Band student, Ms. Williams is dedicated to continuing to provide access to quality music education and concert band experiences for the Woodbridge homeschooling community.

Who is eligible to join?

Any currently homeschooled students between the ages of 10 - 18 from the Northern Virginia or DMV metropolitan area.

No prior experience with a band instrument is necessary!

When and where do you rehearse?

We rehearse most Tuesday afternoons from September - May at

Dale City Baptist Church in Dale City, Virginia.

What instruments can I learn to play?

We teach students to play winds, brass, and percussion instruments at a variety of levels.
